They *generally* do right by people.</p><br /><p>What I'm not a fan of is Impulse. If you want to know why we can't get decent digital distribution across the board, this is why. There are a dozen different digital distribution platforms, none of which have anything even resembling compatibility with one another.</p><br /><p>They're currently all fighting over what game uses what Achievement/Online API, rather than banding together to demand cheaper Digital prices vs. Physical.</p><br /><p>They need to give up and recognize that, of the currently existing digital distribution networks, Steam is the clear winner. This is not a case of a fan-made bug, but a faulty product being distributed by Stardock. Furthermore it was dicussed that this problem has been brought to Stardock's attention since February and ignored.  When asked about this problem by other members; Mr. Wardell attacks Consumerist, gives the same verbatim message as above even when the problem is reproduced, and finally leaves because of \"personal attacks.\"</p><p>Even if the OP did get a refund (after jumping through a lot of hoops), it looks like there are still problems with this game.
