Pizza Hut Says It's Fixed Its Broken Online Coupon System

Dave, the guy who get an online Pizza Hut coupon to work, is now an unofficial quality assurance freelancer for the corporation.

A Pizza Hut CSR asked us to forward her info to Dave, who contacted her and showed us the results:

We value you as a customer and appreciate your feedback about the website. We are extremely sorry that you had a bad experience with the website, and after looking into the issue, we found that there was a franchisee online menu problem. We immediately fixed this issue. We are currently in the process of making our website better for customers, and we thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

If you would like to provide your mailing address, I would be happy to send you a $20 gift card in the hopes that you would try us again.

never heard a response back. I guess next time I should go to Consumerist first?

As a long time email and net user.......
I was contacting big companies back in the 90's....
I was using delivery and / or eat in a Pizza Hut 2 or 3 times a month until 1998......
They (west side Pizza Hut)) would not deliver to my side of the street and said it was the other Pizza Hut area........the other Pizza Hut (east)!
The eastern Pizza Hut stopped 2 blocks short of my home.
So I wrote the head office (emails) for Canada and the USA office as well but NO RESPONSE was the reply!
This all happenened in Jan/Feb 1998.
Since then, NO FURTHER spending at PIZZA HUT.
It was my favorite pizza........35 times a year or more .......for 10 years the money is now spent on other food establishments......good bye PIZZA HUT !!!

Pizza Hut KNEW they had this problem weeks ago. I had complained to the local Pizza Hut and written the company about the coupons that don't work on their website. Never heard a word from the HQ and the people at Pizza Hut said "We don't program the site" and shrugged and stared at me.

Damn. I found a problem exactly like this one and just decided not to order Pizza Hut that night. Could have gotten $20 worth of pizza if I had given a turd.
