Ti just requires a standard ring cutter, but DOES take a LITTLE longer, for obvious reasons, but can be removed. The place I recommended, BTW, offers free shipping if you order 2 or more rings on an order. Just saying. I have two Abyss Replica rings from them, both 10mm, and love them. I have two because after losing weight, my ring kept falling off, so I had to buy another smaller ring.

I've always been in love with the titanium and tungsten jewelry for looks alone, but we're both pretty rough on rings so the durability is an added bonus. We saw someone last weekend that had a black Ti ring and it was beautiful. I'm waiting for the boy to get up so I can see if he likes these. As for the shattering, I've heard that it's highly dependent upon the quality of the tungsten/carbide mix; as I understand it, the tungsten by itself is quite brittle but a decently made alloy will withstand a lot of pressure.

They also do outside engraving on Ti, which is unusual. I only bring them up because I remember them having Tungsten on their site, but not sure if they still do. Send them an email and ask. Their rings are top quality at a low price. If anyone can engrave a ring, it's them. I'm partial to Ti myself, because I worry about the shattering on tungsten and also not a fan of the weight.

@osiris73: Heh, they probably sold out of the larger sizes, since I've seen the same ring online in a wider range. My fiance and I wear the same size in most things because we are creepily similar versions of the other, although I think his ring finger is a size bigger than mine. For this deal, little hands ftw!
