Last year, we highlighted sexy Halloween costumes for inappropriately young girls, but costume makers have decided to take it farther. To sexy costumes for dogs.

At left is one example—what the seller calls a "school pup" uniform. Um. After seeing a sexy scarecrow dog getup on Amazon, tipster John wrote, "Is the first step in designing a Halloween costume automatically adding sexy to the title?" Maybe.

Little did we know, you can also get matching "sexy" human and dog costumes. Fortunately for everyone, the sexy bee costume doesn't come in my dog's size, so we will not be wearing matching outfits this year.

@Saites: Years ago a buddy of mine told me that he visited this bar, as normally he would near his house in Oxford, MI, but on this night it was Halloween. This girl dressed up as a clown introduced herself to him, he took her back to his house, did the nasty, brought her back to the bar, and TA-DA! ,,,, that was that. He has told me numerous times that all he can remember was him having sex with this female clown,,,and that he could never tell you what she really looked like. I just laugh when he tells me this story.

My local Target has "Harem Dog" costumes. I don't have a camera phone or i'd have sent it in.

The "model" on that one happens to resemble our pet, an American eskimo. My refusal to purchase it on the grounds that it's creepy was not well received by my daughter, who keeps reminding me that creepiness is the whole point of Halloween.

@henrygates: +1. That's literally the same thought I had when I saw these..."dogs." My father calls them "Curly-Tailed Rat Dogs." And that's a pretty good description. They're so NOT cute on any level. And putting them in "sexy" constumes makes me vomit in my mouth a little.

I always thought that too, but on Monday, I got a chihuahua. She is constantly freezing her ass off. I went online to see what kind of cold they could tolerate, and everything I've read said they basically require sweaters because they're so small and have such thin coats. I suppose this makes sense considering their ancestry - straight out of south america.

I did a brief stint at Build-A-Bear Workshop (god, what was I thinking?!) and I was shocked and appalled at the number of people who would bring their dogs in and try all the clothes on them. I also can't believe that my managers allowed it.. seriously, little kids play with those clothes and put them in their mouths, etc.. disgusting!

Somehow, I've just never found Sexy Halloween to be all that sexy. It's always been one of my least favorite holidays, right up there with "80s day."

I'm so confused. Is this a form of furry, or is it something new? If it's just fur-goofs expanding their... strangeness to their pets, then it's disturbing, but to be expected.
