Except for restaurants that are not owned by KFC, and those that are in closed markets such as airports and turnpikes, and those that run out of grilled chicken, and those franchises that choose not to participate, etc.

Nothing keeps me away from any business better than a \"get free stuff!\" PR stunt. I don't want the free stuff, I just want to buy something without having to stand in line behind all the gimmee-grabbers for an hour to do so.

@shepd: Canadians just had their Thanksgiving and are off bird for a while. Americans are more cautious about celebrating Thanksgiving and wait until the harvest is actually all in the barn.

KFC Grilled chicken is loaded with MSG and has Beef ingredients.
When people think \"Grilled Chicken\" they think healthy. KFC knows this. That is why they have the product to begin with. Here are the ingredients:
Maltodextrin, Salt, Bleached Wheat Flour, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oil, Monosodium Glutamate, Spices, Palm Oil, Natural Flavor, Garlic Powder, Soy Sauce (Soybean, Wheat, Salt), Chicken Fat, Chicken Broth, Autolyzed Yeast, Beef Powder, Rendered Beef Fat, Extractives of Turmeric, Dehydrated Carrot, Onion Powder, and Not More Than 2% Each of Calcium Silicate and Silicon Dioxide Added as Anticaking Agents
Many people choose chicken because they don't want beef in their diet. Many people would be upset to find out that the Chicken has beef in it.
When I think \"Grilled Chicken\" I certainly don't think \"Rendered Beef Fat\" and Monosodium Glutamate.
This is not a healthy choice by any stretch of the imagination. The ingredients should be listed more clearly and easier to find at a Fast Food restaurant.
If you go to the Nutrition Information page for the grilled chicken on KFC's website ([www.kfc.com] ) the ingredients are not listed there. Only the calories, fat, sodium levels etc. are there. You have to navigate through the site to a pdf file [www.kfc.com] to actually find all of the ingredients for all of their products. The Grilled Chicken can be found on page 7.

@tbax929 is just plain tbax929: That's not the point. Most Americans do not eat healthy. Fast Food restaurants offer items that look like a \"healthy alternative\" to the normal items on the menu.
Grilled Chicken has a perception of being healthier, and it generally is. But this is loaded with things that make it not exactly grilled chicken. It should be called \"Grilled Chicken*\". And the ingredients list should be more readily available.
@suburbancowboy: Didn't they just get rid of partially hydrogenated oils in their fried chicken. Kinda surprising that they would put it in their grilled chicken.

But geezus do I hate it when the victims run around headless for several minutes before collapsing in a heap. The clean-up afterwards takes hours.

I want to know where the wheat flour comes in. Kinda scary for folks with allergys, the chicken looks like it's not breaded..... It just looks greasy and nasty to me, never was tempted to give it a try personally. Only thing I like from KFC is the fact that our local one is twinned up with a taco bell.
@katia802: Just a guess. Flour is often used as a thickening agent, and if they put some kind of glaze on the chicken that might be it?
KFC is indeed delicious. Not just that greasy fried chicken but the grilled stuff as well. Mmmm...just about time for lunch...mmmm

Judging from the latest commercials, it's like a thinly veiled scheme to have us endorse them - \"sixty million people love grilled chicken\" more like \"sixty million people want free chicken regardless of quality\".

The day they gave out free chicken (unrelated to Oprah), it was so not an issue. It was just a free piece of chicken and caused no lines or riots or anything locally. The people at the KFC just wanted me to buy something in order to get a free piece (60 cent biscuit, yay) whereas my brother and sister in another area were given the piece of their choice along with a free biscuit.
Fool me once, shame on you...
