I was in the DC area a couple weeks ago and read in one of their local paper/magazines that Snyder is terrible and this is routine.</p><br /><p>Think about this, if you go to a Redskins game, supposedly if you had parked in a *private* parking lot near their stadium (in order not to pay for overpriced parking) you were not permitted to cross the street to get to the Stadium. They somehow actually blocked and prevented you from getting there that way. They actually tried that and were getting away with it until a ruling finally changed that, I think?</p><br /><p>Also, if you go to the U2 concert there coming up soon at the stadium, they will not let you do the right thing. If you take the metro(subway) there to the concert in order to save on traffic, the environment or the cost of parking, you get no break from Snyder. Synder will make you pay for NOT parking in the parking lot. So I love the Washington Redskins for reasons I still don't fully understand.  I can only compare it to people who hate \"commies\" or \"ay-rabs\" without any explanation.  Fortunately for me, MY irrational prejudices can be merely fought out on a gridiron.</p><p>That said, I HATE Daniel Snyder.  I can't think of a single major decision he's made that has worked out well for the team. For example, EVERY SINGLE FREAKIN' PERSON I KNOW (caps for emphasis and in honor of the fired NZ woman) was locked out of the Rockies post season ticket sales when they went to the world series? You know who seemed to have NO TROUBLE WHATSOEVER and had plenty? Sad thing is, the Redskins have some kind of magical spell over most any sports fan living within about 150 miles of DC that results in no problems selling tickets/merchandise, no matter what the price, scalpers or not; PT Barnum was right.
