and I go out to eat, and go cheap.  We go to a mid-level restaurant, split a pizza and get one drink each. I was shocked. This burger had the ineffable \"McDonald's\" flavor, but tasted nutritious, almost. It looked like a non-fastfood restaurant restaurant burger. The Angus Burger is the love child of a McDonald's cheeseburger and a burger I would make at home.</p><br /><p>It reminded me of the first \"premium burger\" at McD's I remember and once loved, the Arch Deluxe, now long retired. The sign on that place is so incredibly tacky, but I'll give it a try when it opens in a few days.</p><br /><p>Mind, this is also across the street from the best-known burger place in town, and also across from where another (better) burger place used to reside. Oh, and there's a Wendy's across from that. Sometimes 4! I kind of figure if I go out to eat and get a burger without cheese or other bad things on it I am ahead of the game. I know it is not really healthy, but I guess I am ahead of the game instead of the Chicken Alfredo. class=\"comment-content\">            <p>Is anyone else out there tired of finding that just about everywhere they go for a real hamburger (and even some fast food joints) has sipped from the Angus kool-aid?</p><p>I am one of a handful of people who find the Angus just doesn't taste right - there's some flavor that is important to me that is missing.</p><p>For whatever reason though, every steakhouse (and too many burger joints) in Dallas and a growing number in my new home in Massachusetts have given in to the Angusification of beef.</p><p>I don't know if it's inherent in the breed or part of the certification for \"Certified Black Angus\" or what but I can tell you there are few people who like a rare burger or steak as much as I do and they're losing one of their best
