My parents recently asked me to scan some old pictures of my sisters and I, and trust this - this is tame compared to the denim jumper, stirrup pant, neon green, lacy, buttoned-sock ensembles my mother dressed us in. You may be right & I may be more concerned than I should be. I am older than most posters here, so maybe it's a generational thing. I am not a fear monger though, nor do I worry or scare easily. However, I have had foster kids & seen the exploitation that occurs: but your making me think reminds me that each of them was abused in awful ways by those they already knew & should have been able to trust to look after their interests.

I find that soliciting children is never a good idea.

OK, I'm a little freaked that this boy's picture & now his full name (outed by his dad's post with his screename having the family last name) are out there. This thread needs to go away NOW. He's a cute kid & this looks like a great family. I think the snarky little comments are harmless enough (maybe not the nicest but oh well), the kid/family might actually find them entertaining (I would). There are, however, enough truely evil people out there who would exploit this for not so good satisfaction.

And while lederhosen are outstanding, have mom contemplate something from Where The Wild Things Are the next time she's cooling her heels.

Lazarus is an AWESOME name. I don't see how people don't agree. The only cooler name is Magnus, or possibly Thor. It's just unique and ultra powerful; heck, he at 7-years-old could have gotten SkyMiles for simply having such a badass name.

I dunno, that kid looks like an older version of my little brother (who is 4). Yeah, he is pretty damienish. I think it is the hyper white blonde hair, causing him to look like he has no eyebrows.
