It needs to be on thick.<br />b) getting a brand that wont come off in the water and will stay on all day. SPF 25 all day is way more useful than SPF 40 that washes off after 20 minutes.<br />C) get a hat, a shirt, and a thick umbrella. SPF 30 blocks 96-97% of UVB rays.  SPF 50 blocks ~98%.  SPF 100 blocks ~99%.  It's really not that much more.  And SPF is UVB only.  Just from reading that the SPF rating for a product is 30, you can't say that it's inadequate.</p><p>The more important factors in terms of skin cancer prevention are the presence of UVA blockers (you must check out the ingredients! Unfortunately, at this time, there is no rating system in use for UVA protection...) and the thickness of application. The back of his neck looks like the tanned hide of a dead animal.</p><br /><p>I think these are hilarious, personally, and if the money goes to a good cause (people who have had cancer and survived no doubt have some money issues in this country!) Cancer for College awards scholarships to current &amp; former cancer patients who are attending either a two year or four college and/or graduate school. The whole thing is tongue-in-cheek. All of the proceeds go to a charity that helps cancer patients, who are college students, continue their education while receiving treatment. As you can imagine going to a College or University while battling cancer is difficult if you can’t work to support yourself or pay tuition. This is a charity which Will Ferrell helped found and has been actively involved in for years. The money raised with these products goes to help real people. Is it finding a cure? Stepbrothers was a horrible movie although I'm sure they had a great time making it. Branching into consumer products and using his own silly images to market them is good for a chuckle but I certainly wouldn't consider any of those products a serious contender for my hard earned money. The charity aspect is a plus although I suspect that it's not as altruistic as it appears since they don't say (at least I haven't seen) how much of the proceeds are going to charity.</p></p>
