I did subscribe to Nick too.. but that was when it was brand new.. I think my dad paid for it.. lol.
]]>I used to subscribe to my hometown weekly newspaper, which was mailed to me (I live about half a state away now). At some point last year, the publisher decided to stop mailing out copies to anyone who didn't live within the physical confines of the town, and to start distributing the paper free only to local town residents. Only problem was they neglected to have a plan in place to refund the balance on their subscription to readers who couldn't get it anymore for love or money. It just stopped one day without notice.
Took me four months to get them to cut me a check for the balance on my subscription. I still wonder how many other out of town people they screwed.

]]>Nickelodeon is BAD for kids. They pit kids against parents with a written, stated policy of "Us vs. Them." They promote farts, boogers, nastiness, meanness and low-brow behavior. They are turning Dora the Explorer into a Bratz doll. Nick is the anti-Highlights, anti-Disney, anti-family brand. Kids, parents, families and the future will all benefit if you #boycottnick.
