This is normally 129.99 I have a 20% discount so the 103.99.</p><p>The good stuff (i.e. free of charge):<br />- I received and airave free of charge and free of service charges (99.00 equipment, 4.99 a month)<br />- Added pick 3 to both lines (like fav 5 for sprint but it's not advertised).  <br />- Free international long distance - call internationally for no additional cost (normally 5.99)<br />- Free roaming (4.99)</p><p>In a 2 year period (contract time) I will save $1106.28 including my employer discount.</p><p>Now a comparable plan with att BASIC WITH NONE OF THE FREEBIES at 1400 minutes and unlimited data, sms it is $199 a month. My account has 3 lines all with unlimited txting.  2 of the lines are for Android phones so they both have unlimited data (3g). I have 1200 min to split between the 3 phones.  Any call made to another tmobile customer doesnt cost air time.  We all have the fav 5's, unlimited nights and weekends and there are no roaming charges for voice or data and im only paying $130 a month.</p><p>Did I mention I can tether my phone to a laptop or pc and share its 3g connection for no charge?  It can be tethered either via wifim bluetooth or usb. Synergy is awesome.  Having multiple calendars, multiple sources of contacts, and tons more that all work together seamlessly is pretty darn cool. The Pre looks nice, and is the first machine that even comes close to the iPhone (kind of says a lot that it took Apple's competitors 2 years to do that).</p><p>One thing that bothers me is that I've seen several places say \"to get a plan that compares with Sprint's, you'd have to spend X dollars with AT&amp;T!\"  However, that's entirely a function of the unlimited SMS messages that Sprint gives you. Now of course that's a nice thing, but I don't think most users need that. I'm hard pressed to go through the 200 a month i get for $5 on my iPhone. I've had my pre for 2 weeks and I've already sent over 200 messages. Maybe it's because the messaging on the Pre looks like IM. It's awesome.</p><p>On the other hand, I've barely used my anytime minutes because I talk mostly on the evening.</p><p>I also think just on principle ATT is an a-hole for gouging people the way they do on texting. ATT's plan also isn't unlimited nights and weekends like Sprint's is.Phones are being used for texting a lot more than you may think now.</p><p>I own BOTH an iPhone and a Palm Pre and used both as cell phones for about 2 weeks before switching to just the Pre.
