I see these stores of scammers offering complex investment schemes, like say, variable annuities investing in foreign currency markets with a downshifting liquid CD ratio-reverse-index fund combined into an asset holding bond.

And I wonder who would fall for that because I give up right away just based on the incomprehensiveness, let alone the fraud. But this article says they tend to target people who already know how to invest.
