@nrich239: The issue with that is that AIG of late is the recipient of much public scorn - including death threats. They are most certainly going to be very wary of strange packages from unknown senders, especially ones mailed to any of the big wigs saying only that person should open it.

Chances are, a company like AIG has a display case somewhere in/near the executive office where they keep awards, certificates, etc. What Consumerist needs is someone who works for AIG with access to that display case (an administrative assistant, custodian, IT person, etc.). Then have that person put the golden poo in the case without telling anyone and take a couple pictures for posterity. See low long it takes anyone in the executive office to notice it.

SUGGESTION 1
Someone drew a picture of Santa Clause sitting on a chimney as though it was a toilet. The caption said something like, \"Your Christmas bonus is on the way.\" Something like that could be done. Find a figurine of someone sitting on a toilet. Cut out the back or side, and put the poo in its proper place. I don't know the measurements of the trophy, so I don't know if there is a figurine the right size.

It should be in its \"original\" color.

SUGGESTION 2
Put it on top of an ice cream cone and the \"recipient\" might want to lick it. Then tell them what it is.

Hmmm...you could just throw the trophy at one of those executives, right? Or else...it's a shame you've only got one of these trophies. Maybe you could launch a Golden Poo Carpet Bomb and send each head honcho of AIG a golden poo trophy? It's not the same as launching an EECB, which would be very Consumerist of you to do, but hey--golden poo is one of those things that is best received in person. And preferably with a film crew present to capture all the gory details for posterity, as others have pointed out already. :D

Have the delivery person decked out in gold makeup (a la Blue Man Group) and place it with utmost care and ceremonial panache at the center of their lobby. A brief speech - long enough to garner attention from passersby, short enough that it can be delivered before security gets there - place the trophy, split.

Seriously the guy that describes the delivery driver casually walking in and setting up the trophy case. I would add some euro thane adhesive \"stuff that holds windshields in\" to the bottom and back of the case stick it against a wall.

my girl adds, make sure the base is air tight with the display glass and put several fish heads in the bottom, if they break the glass \"ew\" if they destroy it to take it out \"ew\"

If I were in any kind of position at AIG, I'd ask for it to be delivered to me.
I'd bring it to the next meeting and tell people that this is the bottom, and we need to get our head out of our asses or we'll have golden shit on our face again.
