El Pollo Loco is much better and since the nearest one is some 90 miles from my house I always buy a "bunch" of their chicken.They used to be a lot cheaper though but still have some good specials.I can replicate their flavor on my BBQ but it is their salsas and side dishes which is convinient.Good stuff.

]]>Yeah, except for the self fermenting salsa bowls. That stuff is bubbling by the end of the day and they just shovel it back in a bucket to be added to a another batch the next day. That's just nasty. Not to mention the workers not grasping basic workplace hygiene.

El Pollo Loco just did a 2 piece giveaway and it went off without a hitch. They're always cooking tons of chicken and stock for it.
Some KFCs are slower so they don't stock the excess needed to meet the demand.
