HA! (One of the many moments) I wish my Dad were alive to laugh with me at this!

I'm adopted, and one of our favorite ways to drive my Mom nuts was for Dad to "reminisce" how they obtained me 'cheap' by buying me when I was on sale, an anecdote puntuated by pointing out the nearest store window sign that read "Baby Sale." Never failed to make me laugh uproariously and, for some reason, make my Mom gnash her teeth.

He would think this was absolutely hysterical. I'm sure we would very quickly spin it into a "can I have a baby brother" "sure, you can even have five, they're on sale!" routine.
