@LetMeGetTheManager: Well, at least she's got toilet paper covered. Some generous souls donated a large amount of TP to her recently and thoughtfully spread it about the outside of her house. Now, anytime she needs some TP, she could just pick it from a tree.

The diapers are actually a worse deal that Target brand, which is what I buy.
Target brand are 15.99 for over 100.
Huggies do last through the night, usually, though. I have to wake up once to change my daughter if she goes to sleep in Target brand. So I just bought some huggies for overnights and she wears target during the day.

@Tmoney02: Actually, Metallica has been offering free recordings of their concerts for years through their LiveMetallica.com sight. They encourage their fans to record and upload concerts for free downloads. You still have to pay for the higher quality soundboard recordings, though. I've downloaded several free concerts from the site.
The whole deal with Napster was blown way out of proportion, IMO.
@Tmoney02: Offering free concerts is a smart marketing move to a.) get people to buy more CDs and album downloads and b.) get more people to go to concerts. There's a big difference between downloading something that an artists asks to you download and piracy.

@Oranges w/ Cheese: Anecdotal I know but I had friends in HS when that started and they literally sold all of their Metallica CDs and never bought or listened to another album of theirs. I guess in the long run they aren't too bad off but they lost a lot of \"casual fans\" over it.
The d40 is a great camera. I just paid $409 at Amazon a week ago and I don't regret it (I tend to stay away from refurbs on cameras since Nikon is fussy about warranties and stuff.)
Still, use the extra $60 and buy a good iTTL flash or another lens. I'm still ticked at the whole changes to AF and TTL that Nik did in jumping to digital which is why I put it off for so many years.

I bought the knives last time they were offered and have been pleased with mine. Just used one to cut up onions and carrots for corned beef :)

The Sony deal should apply for purchases over $299. Here is the link to the pricing & terms.
I called Sony and they tried to get me to spend $349. I called First USA and was told that they issue the credit and that the amount is $299 as stated in the pricing and terms.

I read the fine print on the Sony deal, it looks like if I sign up for the card and make one purchase for over $350 I can get a $200 statement credit. Does anyone see a catch to this that I am missing in the fine print?
