        <![CDATA[<p>This was coming for years.  The Inquirer abandoned the city proper to cover the burbs, and was in competition with suburban papers that already did that better.</p>
<p>I'm not saddened by this.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>We really are looking at the death of quality print journalism. (And I don't know if these two papers qualified for that accolade, either.)</p>
<p>No one wants to pay for what they can get for free... but that means they won't be able to get it for free, either.</p>
