FU offer's 10% off of contracts w/ TMO but the language is unclear if this is for new or existing contracts that are transferred. It also doesn't mention if my regional plan can be used on the discount... I need a human on the other end of the line for these questions because I really don't want to screw up my account while trying to save a couple bucks.
]]>Better yet, contact your HR rep within your own company. They can give you any relevant discount codes needed to claim these prices for the carriers. I worked for AT&T's business customer support, and we required the employer's code before signing an account up for the discount. It can save a lot of time to learn that number beforehand.
]]>So after seeing this I checked out my company's intranet section for employee discounts and indeed, we have one. It says to call a different number. I call them and while the find the discount, they can't help me. I get transferred, and now at that number they can't even find the discount.
Fortunately my intranet page has a link for filling out a form online. Of course, it's a little confusing and not super intuitive. Let's hope I did it right. Sigh. But in any case, thanks for posting this, because if I didn't toally screw up, I get a discount!
]]>Tmobile still gouges you on the discount. I asked about mine. They told me it varies from 8-12% depending on how much my company spends with them. And trust me I work for a Large company its not like we run a little budget with them. The funny thing is ATT and other Providers provide me with in some cases 50% off on select services (Data).

]]>It also pays to shop around with discounts on other carriers and present the best price to your current carrier. I was a long time customer of ATT, but Verizon was offering with my employer discount a better deal on hardware price and monthly service. I called up ATT and presented the price that Verizon gave me an asked if they could meet that deal for a long time customer. Without hesitation they met the deal I received from Verizon saving me $100 on the hardware, $36 on activation and 10% on my monthly service

@Anton Ochoa: When I used to work for a smaller carrier (and I suppose it varies depending on the company), the corporate discount was based only on the number of lines, not on the company itself or its employees' plans. A company with 200 people registered for the discount, no matter their plans, would get a better deal than one with 20 people registered for it.
