Did you know that at Amazon you are getting 2 boxes for around $21.00 and each box contains 24 K-cups. So, you're getting 48 K-cups for $21.00. At Keurig, a single box of 24 is $13.95. So, that's 48 K-cups for about $28.00. Are you sure that Amazon is any more of a rip-off? I cannot find a better deal. Also, places like BJs and Bed Bath and Beyond have a very limited selection. You are not getting the best of the lot at these stores. Recently, I signed up for Amazon's delivery service (will automatically deliver your items every 1 to 6 months, your choice, and shipping is free) and got so many discounts that I paid $15.00 for 48 K-cups. Also, you only get 18 K-cups in a single box At Bed Bath and Beyond.

Huh? You don't have to brew a full pot of coffee, ya know. And to solve the mold problem, just throw out the filter/grinds after the coffee is done brewing. :-)

We have a Keurig machine at work, and I have to say the coffee isn't very impressive. It doesn't taste any better than vending machine coffee. And the caffeine is pretty weak. I'd say time/convenience is the only selling point to these single serving coffee machines.

For everyone else, I'd recommend getting a french press. Best coffee evarrrr! But it can be chore to clean sometimes.

This Amazon deal is a total rip off though. I usually get my K cups at BJs or off the Keurig website.

K-cups are amazing, and I, too, love my Keurig brewer. Bear in mind that these prices are for two 24- or 25-packs, so although I can't compare to BJ's, I'm pretty sure it's still cheaper than ordering from Keurig. Although I agree that these deals aren't great, since it's really only a dollar or two cheaper than Amazon's normal prices for K-cups; what you really need to watch out for are the clearance sales. Last time I ordered, they had a 50%-off deal on certain Coffee People and Green Mountain varieties, so I was spending $12 or so for two 25-packs.

I agree. If it's expensive, it's nonetheless cost-efficient. (I keep K cups around for convenience, but buy freshly roasted coffee at the roaster a few blocks from my apartment and use the mesh filter K cup adapter.)

I also agree that the Amazon K cup sale's a ripoff. It's a stacked discount, and you only get 10% as a baseline. I actually like a couple of the K cups Amazon's put on sale, but it's cheaper to go to Bed Bath and Beyond with one of their omnipresent 20% off coupons.
