For those of you not familiar with "lorem ipsum," it's commonly used placeholder text dating from the 1500's. The text was created by scrambling words from a passage of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Marcus Tullius Cicero. —MEGHANN MARCO

That's a classic. By which I mean it's a classic error that any pro can relate to. It's always the headline or the big, bold title that everyone forgets to proofread. That's why you see "penis" instead of "pen is," "pubic" instead of "public," etc. in the strangest places. "Lorem ipsum" errors show up in books, newspapers, and magazines regularly.

Is it possible that the only put "Lorem Ipsum" there because they didn't have the spanish name for the item handy when they started on the item and forgot to finish getting the text prior to sending it out for printing?
It is a pretty funny mistake though. :)

This appears to be a product that home depot sells making it the manufacturers problem and not Home Depot's. Put blame where blame is due.

Interesting, I never knew the history of Lorem Ipsum. I always assumed it was a made up gibberish to use as filler, I didn't actually think it had roots.
